Star Defense, XNA 3.0, and Sound
I've run through all of the Star Defense tutorials and found that no changes were necessary for the upgrade to XNA 3.0.  I did update the ZIP file in Part 11 with the converted XNA 3 file for simplicity's sake.

Additionally, Part 12 is done!  In the final segment of the series, we add sound effects to our game events to wrap things up for the project.

I'm working on a summary/wrapup post for the Star Defense series that I will post in a few days.  I've also started working on a few other projects, one of which will likely end up as my next tutorial series.  No details yet, but it combines a rewrite of my old Tile Engine system with some advanced versions of the concepts developed in Star Defense.

I've actually been working on a few projects, including a game Jason and I are putting together for the XBox Community Arcade and some other (non-XNA related) development projects. I'll try to get my summary document up this weekend.

I am excited about working on this tutorial, but I am having a problem. When I enter the two constructors, public Background, I keep getting an error "Method must have a return type". Can you help me get through this. Thanks. Morton

Thank you so much for all of your tutorials. They are definitely among the best I could find on the net. Keep doing 2D stuff, it rocks. Cheers from Sweden!

Hey! Thanks for the great tutorial! It helped me a lot. However there is a bug in your game! The levels go up by two's! The problem is that you are updating the level number in both the StartNewWave() method and the GenerateEnemies() method.
